This unique model is carved from one piece of beech wood. Engraved on one side is the monastery complex of Geghard. The name "Geghard" comes from the fact that the Holy Spear with which the Roman centurion pierced the side of the crucified Christ on Golgotha was kept there for 500 years.

This model is completely handcrafted. It is varnished. The hinges and locks are made of cast bronze. The entire playing field is hand carved of one piece of wood.
